ABOUT THE AUTHOR Chandra Bali Tripathi

Late Pt. Chandra Bali Tripathi (b. 1893, d. 1985) had taken prominent part in India’s Freedom Struggle in close association with Madan Mohan Malaviya and others. Though he took up legal profession for a living, his abiding interest lay in serious literary pursuits. He was an erudite scholar of Sanskrit and Philosophy and has enriched Hindi literature with renowned books, like Dharmaraja Yudhishthira and Bharatiya Samaja Mein Nari Adarshon ka Vikasa. He is, however, pre-eminently recognized as an erudite scholar of Indian Philosophy on account of his monumental works Upanishad Rahasya, Part I, the other two parts being in press.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Chandra Mauli Mani

Shri C.M. Mani (b. 8.2.1929 at Basti in U.P., India) retired from Indian Railways as Additional General Manager, having previously held top positions, like Div. Rly. Manager and Chief Mechanical Engineer. The Author is settled in Lucknow, U.P., India. His major works are: Abridged Dictionary of Mech. Engg.
