Basically, all Religions are the same; they all teach us that the best way to worship God is to serve human beings; to see Him is His creations. Religion binds us together and inspires us to work unitedly for the common cause of humanity.
As such, Religion is one of the most important creations of Man. It is a very sensitive phenomenon. This is why it has immensely influenced the history of mankind. Its impacts have always been substantial both negative and positive. This explains why it deserves so serious a consideration. Man started his annals when every phenomenon of Nature was a mystery to him. He shivered at the gigantic powers of Nature. He was filled with fear, and bowed awfully to the mysterious powers of Nature. Different phenomena of Nature assumed the forms of different deities it has been so all over the world. Human imagination helped in bestowing different shapes to different gods and goddesses. They (deities have ever since then, been receiving worship in different forms and modes. Prayers started to be offered to please them. We, in general, still feel that we are surrounded by supernatural powers who can do or undo us. Occultism is an another offshoot of that so called Religion. Some cunning people began to exploit the credulity of simple-minded masses.
