Theories depict the socio-economic situation of particular times. As the time moves forward the changes within evolve the newer genre of theories which answer to the social needs more accurately. Science and technology have not only changed the social system of world, they have transformed the life style and behaviour of the people at large. The culture and behaviour of the primitive people is not required to be repeated today . There is no relevance of that system in the present day era of technology. The theory of communication, likewise, has evolved in its new shape due to the impact of our needy-oriented social life. The world is divided into many segments on the basis of Socio-economic, political, cultural, spiritual, psychological and geographical, needs. Our communication theories for this reason are too many. They are developed on the basis of Socio-economic and political situation of that particular nation or continent. It is hoped that this book will fulfill the demands of a Society. The editors are painfully aware of the shortcomings, and shall welcome any criticism and suggestions from the readers for improvement in further editions.
