Marginalization of Tribal groups in the state of Tripura has become one of the important issues which needs academic exploration to understand the ground realities keeping in mind the national scenario. The present volume contains a collection of original research papers contributed by various people ranging from research scholars to academicians, law practitioners etc. investigating, examining and analysing the historical, political, economical, educational marginalization of the people including issues related to science and technology, health etc. The volume is one of its first kind to academically bring forth the issues to national level aiming at understanding the indigenous tribal people-the history of their marginalization and the possible wayouts to overcome.
The contributors tried their level best to identify the issues of various tribal communities of the state which are closely related to the issue of their marginalization in different spheres.
