Many Books on various aspects of the Nagas had been undertaken by foreign writers. But they failed to go deep down to the core of Naga life and therefore, short of reality.

The author, being a Tangkhul Naga himself, made a comprehensive investigation on the history of the Nages-origin, migration, settlement and their past till date making indigenuous approach to the problems, and the changes taking place.
