Dolpo: The Hidden Land

Set amid the high Himalayas, abode of the gods, Nepal has been called the kingdom where deities mingle with mortals. As one of the remotest corners of Nepal, Dolpo was, until recently, virtually unknown to the outside world. The main aim of publishing this book is to further promote Dolpas wonderful natural beauty and simultaneously raise awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability and the preservation of Dolpa and the greater Himalayan region – culture and heritage.
